About

The story behind LifeCharted.

LifeCharted started with a question the founder couldn't answer: how many cities have you lived in? He'd lived those years and packed every box, and he still got the count wrong on the first try.

The facts weren't lost, they were scattered. LinkedIn knew the jobs. iCloud remembered the days a camera was out. A Notes app held two half-finished journals. No single place held the whole thing, for him or for anyone he loved. His grandfather's stories were already gone. His parents' timeline he could only sketch.

So he built the tool he needed: one screen where an entire life lays out in order — every job, home, trip, and turning point — with AI that helps you capture it by conversation instead of data entry, and helps you see what the years were actually doing while you were busy living them.

That's LifeCharted. We build it week by week with the people using it.

What we believe

Privacy by design
Your life data belongs to you, not us. Private by default, exportable always. We make money from subscriptions, so there are zero ads and zero data sales.
Honest AI
AI features are optional, clearly labeled, and never used to train models on your data. We explain what the AI sees.
Craft over scale
We're building for depth, not growth metrics. LifeCharted should feel like it was made for you, not a million anonymous users.
You can always leave
Full export in open formats, any time, on any tier. If we ever stop deserving your story, take it with you.
