Start Here
The easiest way to begin is by adding the biggest chapters of your life first.
Build the backbone first
Start with where you lived, schools attended, jobs and careers, major relationships, and family milestones.
These chapters create the structure that makes the rest of your timeline easier to add and easier to understand later.
Then add highlights
After the backbone is in place, add achievements, travel, hobbies, memberships, and turning points.
You do not need to capture everything at once. A strong start comes from a handful of meaningful events.
Or, let AI interview you
The Life Interview is a faster alternative to manual entry. An AI asks you one question at a time about six life chapters — Roots, Education, Work, Places, People, and Milestones. As you answer, events appear for you to confirm before they are saved.
Start it by tapping the Interview button in the top toolbar of the main app.
Rules of Thumb
- Begin with homes, schools, jobs, and relationships.
- Capture the biggest transitions before the small details.
- Use rough dates when exact memory is not available.
Common Mistakes
- Trying to add every event in perfect order before the backbone exists.
- Skipping major chapters because you do not remember exact dates yet.
- Filling titles with too much detail instead of using descriptions.
