What are AI Insights?
AI Insights analyzes your timeline for recurring patterns across career, travel, health, relationships, and more.
What AI Insights does
AI Insights reads your timeline events and surfaces recurring patterns across six categories: Career Pattern, Life Scope, Decision Point, Travel Pattern, Health Insight, and Relationship Insight.
Every insight is traceable — each one links directly to the source events it was drawn from so you can verify or investigate further.
Saving and managing insights
You can save insights you find meaningful, dismiss ones that do not resonate, or refresh an individual category to generate a new one.
Free accounts can generate 5 insights per month and save up to 20. Premium accounts get 25 generations per month and unlimited saved insights.
Sensitive topics and privacy
Insights involving health, grief, or loss are framed with extra care. Events you have marked as excluded from AI analysis are never sent to the model.
Your event data is anonymized before it reaches the AI — names and identifying details are removed from the context.
Rules of Thumb
- The more events you have logged across different lanes, the richer and more accurate the patterns will be.
- If an insight feels off, check whether the source events it links to are correctly categorized.
- Exclude sensitive events from AI analysis at the individual event level rather than keeping them out of your timeline entirely.
Common Mistakes
- Generating insights from a sparse timeline — AI Insights works best once you have a solid backbone of events across several lanes.
- Expecting insights to reference events you have excluded from AI analysis — those events are intentionally omitted.

How do I use Life Resume?
Life Resume generates a structured document from your timeline covering career, education, travel, and more.
How do privacy and visibility settings work?
Every event has a visibility level. Lane defaults handle most decisions automatically — you only need to override when something is an exception.
